I was recently introduced to Desktop Tower Defense Desktop Tower Defense, a wonderfully fun Flash game.
If you liked Dune, or Total Annihilation, you’ll like this game.

nitpick: Just a note you realize that the post title says 1.5 and your link takes you to 1.2

Whoops. I’ll have to fix that when I get home (it’s blocked at work).
One thing I wish I could do is have some nice cheat modes for this game. Yes, yes. I know it is not a true gamer to desire the cheats, but I still want them.

Well there is always the 10K Gold level. I personally never really enjoyed the advanced juggling techniques and without that I don’t think it is possible to beat the game at the hardest settings. Thats where I lost some interest. I just wanted to build a self sustaining death trap that didn’t require my intervention.

Even the 10k level isn’t enough for me. I’d prefer 20k, or maybe even 30k.
When I’m playing games like this, it’s not usually for the challenge; I just want to have fun.
