I was alerted to Sean Tevis’ state representative race in Kansas through BoingBoing.
At the risk of sounding shallow, his website is so cool I sent him $10.
Of course, he’s also running under a platform I would support, so that helps.

Hee… I donated his requested $8.34 yesterday. He already has over 1,000 donors, surpassing the old Kansas State Legislature record!
Wow he beat his goal already! I think we may donate anyway. That’s quite possibly the best campaign site I’ve ever seen. And if anybody needs more intelligent representation, it’s the state of Kansas.
@David. Yeah. As of 0818 this morning (CST [I wonder if that’s supposed to be CDT?]) he’s at 4,101. I wonder how many more he will receive.
Hi Bill… (I e-mailed you the other day about your traffic blog.) To show you how small a world this is, I used to work as traffic engineer at the City of Olathe about 20 years ago. Glad to see this young guy is using some innovative techniques to run for the KS legislature. Back when I worked there, the legislator from this district could barely write his own name. I understand why he kept his party affiliation fairly discrete… Olathe is the ultra-conservative. With his inginuity, I hope Sean wins!
