Poor, Mebbie… you’re not reading her blog? 🙂

“Poor Mebbie” won’t put up an RSS feed, last time I checked, so I continuously forget to go see what’s going on. Eh, Meb?

You know how I feel about that RSS feed. I’ll admit they are useful (and I use to publish a feed). And quite honestly, I’ve considered publishing a limited feed. Perhaps I’ll get around to that soon but will certainly not publish the complete entries. Hmmm…

Why not? I know the reason you’ve given me re: stalking and IP tracking, but if you’re so paranoid about people reading your blog without your notice, why are you blogging? Or, I should say, why are you blogging on blogger? You should go to LJ and make it private. It’s a bit silly to put up a public blog and then complain that people read it.

Well I’ve definitely considered that. However, I have people who read my blog who are less than technically able. It is pretty much impossible for me to ask elderly family members to switch URLs (big enough issue by itself) and sign up for an account somewhere. But you are right – and perhaps that’s what will happen. I am sorta tired to taking grief for it from folks and might just consider that as a solution to the problem.

Grief? Don’t think of it as grief. Think of it as friendly pursuasion. 🙂

I don’t know how blogger works, but do you need to switch URL’s to get an RSS feed to work? Generally the publishing feeds are transparent to the main site.
