   Calibrating, or verifying? That is, did you actually make adjustments to the focusing distance/response? I have a lens that seems to be ‘soft’ all the time, but I haven’t figured out if it’s focusing to the wrong point, or has some other mechanical problem.

   (Apologies for the comment on the two month old post, but I just discovered that my feed reader wasn’t pulling in your posts.)
