There is a new billboard for Southern Polytechnic State University (a.k.a. Southern Poly) at the corner of S. Marietta Parkway and Cobb Parkway (US 41) in Marietta, GA. It states:
Discover all of Life’s Unlockables
Eh?
If it’s unlockable once you discover it, I guess you’re screwed.
“Discover all of Life’s Unlockables” is pretty obscure. Did they have a picture to go with it, or is Southern Poly trying to recruit gamers?
I’d probably have put a Super Mario “Question Box” on the billboard. “All your base are belong to us” followed by “Southern Poly” might also get a rise from gamers and internet meme fans.
If I have an opportunity, I’ll snap a picture of the billboard. I did not see a picture on their website.
Do they mean “unlockable” as in “can’t be secured”, or do they really mean “un-unlockable”?
I think I’ve confused myself, actually.
I choose to interpret it in the Maine way: Dethaw = Thaw; Unlockable = un-unlockable
